What is the course about?

Paul Harris, one of the UK’s most respected teachers and author of the Improve your Sight Reading series, leads this course designed to help musicians of approximatelyGrade 6 standard and above with their sight-reading skills through the holistic process of Simultaneous Learning. The course will help participants develop all the techniques required to sight-read with confidence and Paul will offer his unique approach to get you on the right track.  All instruments welcome.

This course is designed to help musicians of Grade 6 standard and above with their sight-reading skills through the holistic process of Simultaneous Learning.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

Instrumental or singing skills of about grade 6 level are helpful.

How will the course be taught, and will any preparation be required?

The course will involve group work and talks, including the opportunities for individual practice.  No preparation is required.

Will music be provided in advance of the course?

No, it will be provided by the tutor on the course.
