Directions
By car
From the A1(M), exit at Junction 8, taking the A602 towards Hitchin. Follow the A602 until you reach a large roundabout. Take the fourth exit (Park Street) to HItchin Town Centre. At the small roundabout, take the second exit onto Queen Street and continue for about half a mile. As you approach the traffic lights, keep in the right-hand lane and continue straight until you reach a roundabout. Take the third exit onto Highbury Road and then immediately turn left onto Benslow Lane.
From the M1, exit at Junction 10 (Luton Airport) and follow signs towards Hitchin (A505). At the first main roundabout in Hitchin (after one mini-roundabout) take the third exit (right) onto the A602. Continue until you reach another main roundabout. Take the first exit (Park Street) towards Hitchin Town Centre. At the small roundabout, take the second exit into Queen Street and continue for about half a mile. As you approach the traffic lights, keep in the right-hand lane and continue straight until you reach a roundabout. Take the third exit into Highbury Road and then immediately turn left into Benslow Lane.
We have ample free car parking facilities on site. Two electric vehicle charging bays are available at the nearby Woodside Car Park (SG4 9SG).
By train
Trains to Hitchin from London King's Cross, Peterborough and Cambridge run approximately every half an hour. Thameslink services from London St Pancras and Brighton stop at Hitchin on weekdays. Benslow Music is a seven-minute walk from Hitchin station.
As you leave the station, head towards the main road. Immediately before Tesco Express, turn left into 'Burton's Path'. As the path splits in two, bear left, bringing you out onto Benslow Rise. Keep right and follow the road to the end. St Andrew's School will be in front of you. Turn left up the hill and Benslow Music will be on your right-hand side.
