The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to lead the marketing function and communication activities at Benslow Music. Reporting to the Chief Executive they will play a key role in driving strong engagement with existing and new audiences, effectively and creatively communicating Benslow Music’s vision, mission and values.

The role will include developing and implementing marketing plans and activities for Benslow Music’s programmes (including courses, concerts, Instrument Loan Scheme) and commercial activities (including venue hires, bed & breakfast), enabling the organisation to reach its recruitment and income targets.

The role is responsible for the following: evaluating and reviewing activities to measure impact, effectiveness and return on investment, tracking KPIs and making data-driven adjustments to campaigns as necessary, providing reports and insights to the senior team and trustees as required, and managing the marketing budget.

While candidates will need to demonstrate understanding marketing and communications practice relevant to Benslow Music and its audiences, previous experience in the cultural and education sector is not required.

Salary: £28,000-£35,000

Location: Benslow Music in Hitchin, with flexible working considered

Hours: Part time, 0.8FTE (28 hrs per week)

Contract: Permanent, at Benslow Music with hybrid working considered
