Gerard and Alastair’s saxophone courses at Benslow Music are always hugely popular, and we’re excited to launch the Benslow International Saxophone Course! As with our other saxophone courses, there will be workshops and technique clinics and the chance to get to know more ensemble repertoire. The course will also offer a great opportunity to meet and connect with other like-minded musicians from around the world. Over the duration of the course, we will work together on a large ensemble piece, with everyone recording their own part and sending it in so that it can be pieced together to make a group recording. We will guide you through this process, and there will be a session on home recording techniques and plenty of opportunity to ask questions. On Saturday evening we will host a Virtual Bar which is the perfect opportunity to discuss all things saxophone in a relaxed and informal environment.

The course will be run over three days. The provisional timetable is below (exact session content may be subject to change).
