Valerija Iljin

Valerija Iljin is a Lithuanian spinto lyric soprano currently studying with Joan Rodgers CBE and Helen Yorke at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, she is also mentored by Janet Haney, Peter Knapp and Sarah Pring.

Valerija is a winner of many international competitions and festivals in Italy, Poland, Latvia, USA, Russia, Belarus, Malta, Moldova, Ukraine, France and Germany and other countries. Valerija has performed with various orchestras including Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, Trimitas Orchestra, Panevezys Musical Theatre Symphony Orchestra, Kaunas Big Band, Belarus State Symphony Orchestra and Polish National Symphony Orchestra.

In 2019 Valerija was awarded a Bachelor's degree in theatre studies from Vilnius College and London College of Music, she has also studied at American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and played in the operetta Gondoliers production directed by David Henson. In May 2021, Valerija developed the roles of Susanna and Emma in Mussorgsky's opera Khovanschina (Bolshoi Theatre) working with the creative team: Simon McBurney OBE, Gerard McBurney and Leah Hausman. 

Born and raised in Bucharest, pianist and educator Cristiana Achim is one of the most sought-after musicians of her generation. Graduating the Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours in 2022 from the Royal College of Music, she is currently pursuing her Master of Performance degree as a scholar under the tutelage of Nigel Clayton at the Royal College of Music.

A winner of numerous international music competitions, Cristiana has most recently become a finalist and has been awarded the 3rd prize in the Norah Sande Awards 2022 (UK) and the Special Prize Debut in Transylvania at the Youth of Music 2021 International Competition (Romania) with a Recital Award. She is generously supported by the Talent Unlimited Foundation.

Cristiana Achim

Cristiana has performed in prestigious UK venues like Queen Elizabeth Hall, St James's Picadilly, Drapers Hall or Amaryllis Fleming. Upcoming engagements include Clara Schumann's piano concerto with the Trinity Orchestra in November 2022 and a solo piano recital tour across UK starting in September 2022. As a resident artist with the Romanian Royal House, she is often invited to play with the Royal Camerata Orchestra and to give piano recitals at the Romanian Atheneum in Bucharest.

Cristiana is a passionate advocate for education and has collaborated with Romanian and British institutions which offered her many opportunities to develop the Romanian educational system by teaching music to disadvantaged children through interactive workshops. Recently becoming a Benedetti Foundation Music Ambassador, she is developing creative education projects, working alongside the violinist Nicola Benedetti and her collaborators in 2021-2022.
