Lisa Nelsen and Eleanor Turner began playing together for the love of the music they were given, and found that their mutual enthusiasm was infectious. They’ve played the Mozart flute and harp concerto to a sell-out crowd.
The Aquilae Duo play a very wide variety of musical genres, from Baroque to Romantic and also give completely contemporary concerts with pieces written for them. They often teamed up with other musicians to play a wider range of pieces including the Debussy Sonata for Flute, Harp and Viola, and Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro.
“This flute and harp duo is a refined and vibrant collaboration; I found myself marvelling at the subtle nuances and interplay that came forth from these two wonderful musicians.”
Wissam Boustany, International Soloist and Founder, Towards Humanity
