From rationing to air raids, the blackout to gas masks come and meet Mrs Brown as she remembers Christmas on the home front during the war years. This fun-filled talk looks at the way ordinary people coped during the war years and how everyone still managed to have a good time despite the bombing and shortages. Have some fun with Mrs Brown and join in with the songs that kept everyone’s spirits up – oh and don’t forget your gas mask!

The talk begins with a substantial three-course set Christmas lunch at 12.30pm (please inform us of any dietary requirements when booking).
