With the country still reeling from the devastation of World War One, the British composers, Arnold Bax, Benjamin Britten, Frederick Delius and John Ireland produced some of their most enduring and thrilling work.  All at very different stages of their lives and careers, this talk will look at the lives of these four composers with excerpts from their compositions from the year of 1929. The talk begins with a substantial buffet lunch (please inform us of any dietary requirements when booking).
